What We Do

Glen Alex

I founded G Alex Foundation in 2009 because I believe that health matters.  Having health enables us to live fully, be availabe to loved ones and open our hearts to those less fortunate.  While health is relative and varies from person to person, optimal health is achievable for all.  It's the optimization of health that connects us with our potential. to be the best humans we can.

My life's work is all about health.  In Social Work, Massage Therapy, as a USANA Associate, and through G. Alex Foundation, I strive to facilitate optimal health in others.  Thus G. Alex Foundation promotes health and offers our community opportunities to be healthier.

Tina Tasaka

I first became a volunteer for the G. Alex Foundation based on my friendship with the Director, Glen Alex and my love and passion for Tennis.  As the foundation has matured and evolved, it has extended out beyond tennis and is focused on overall wellness and helping others.  Giving time to help others, and donating funds through events and supporters to help others in need is a true passion.  Too many people on this planet need support, help, love, nourishing and care and need a helping hand.  I am looking forward to bigger events and growing the supporter base of the foundation along with the Director and the Board members.

About Tina:  I am a 24 year resident of Las Vegas and love my city !  I have an 19 year old son that is attending UNLV – general Studies.  Alex is also a tennis player and avid “gym rat”.  I have family living in Long Beach CA and Scottsdale AZ, and the rest of my family are all in Denmark and France. Currently employed with Information Builders as an Account Executive covering all of Nevada and serving all verticals:  Casino, Healthcare, Government, Retail, Higher Education, Finance, Insurance, Manufacturing, Transportation, Construction and non-profits.

Shelleye Warner

A long time resident who grew up in Las Vegas and has dedicated her professional life to serving the public through her involvement in many organizations.  An Eldorado High School Graduate, she attended University Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and then enrolled at Mills College in California, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice in 1999. She also holds a Paralegal certificate from UNLV .Shelleye returned to Las Vegas to pursue career in criminal justice.  She joined the Clark County Equal Opportunity Development Department as a management analyst.  Shelleye continues to work in county government.
In the spring of 2017, Shelleye will receive a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  Shelleye is single and has one child.

One good reason why volunteering is important to me is that it goes a long way towards creating a healthy community.  I volunteer for  G. Alex Foundation because tennis provides for healthy activities to improve fitness, self-esteem, teamwork and other positive wellness programs. Additionally, I work with a fun group of people with the same beliefs that I have.

Dwain Frazier

I am an Allstate Agency Owner for 9 years in Las Vegas.  I volunteer for the G. Alex Foundation to be able to give back to the community.  As a father, husband, and business owner, I believe health is important in this balancing act.  And I want to share my experiences to help educate everyone in the community on good health habits.
